Where to Stay in Todos Santos Mexico – DownTown

When you stay downtown, you’ll be within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, art galleries, and historic houses.

Todos Santos was originally founded by Jesuit missionaries. Later, it became the center of a thriving sugar cane trade. So when you walk around town, you can see the remnants of old sugar mills, from crumbling ruins to re-purposed wrought iron.

1. Hacienda Todos Los Santos | luxury hotel

Hacienda Todos Los Santos is a lovely hotel with a rustic charm and a beautiful garden. 

Although it is right in downtown Todos Santos, it feels completely secluded. It is tranquil, clean, and comfortable… a perfect vacation getaway.

The hotel has an outdoor pool surrounded by lush plants. Each of the rooms comes equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, including a seating area, balcony or terrace, and an equipped kitchen or wet bar, Wifi, cable TV, a DVD player, and air-conditioning.

The private bathrooms have both a shower and a tub… in case you have a hankering for a luxurious evening bath.

Massages are also available.

Art galleries and restaurants are only a few minutes away and San Pedro de las Palmas beach is a ten-minute drive from the hotel.

2. The Hotelito | luxury hotel

I stayed at The Hotelito for one night. It’s located between the town center ad the beach but not exactly ON the beach. The hotel is adorable, the rooms are very tastefully decorated and equipped with fine linen and beautiful art pieces.

3. Hotel Casa Tota | mid-range hotel

Hotel Casa Tota is a great mid-range hotel in downtown Todos Santos Mexico. The rooms are decorated in a clean minimalist style that is both simple and comfortable.

The swimming pool area is stunning, featuring tropical plants, deep-cushioned lounge chairs, and sparkling water.

Hotel Casa Tota also has a restaurant and bar offering delicious food and drinks. Guests also loved the rooftop terrace, ample parking, and the location. 

The Cultural Centre and a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars are within easy walking distance of Hotel Casa Tota.

As far as amenities go, all of the rooms are air-conditioned, stocked with bottled water, and have ensuite bathrooms.

4. Cien Palmas | luxury vacation rental

Casa Arbol is a comfy one-bedroom casita only two minutes’ walk from the beach. It’s also within a five-minute walk of a grocery store, and a five-minute drive from downtown Todos Santos.

Todos Santos is definitely a car-friendly town. Unless you plan to limit your activities to the town center and nearby beaches, having your own vehicle is a must.
